Walter S. White (1917-2002): Miles C. Bates house

Description

The Miles C. Bates house by Walter White in Palm Desert, California is also known as the "wave" house for it's uniquely shaped roof. The house blends the curving roof lines, reminiscent of the nearby mountains, with glass walls and indoor/outdoor living.
The house was recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
