Barton Myers: Dundas-Sherbourne (Toronto, Canada)

The Dundas-Shelbourne project was an infill housing scheme undertaken by the City of Toronto's Non-Profit Housing Corporation. Instead of tearing down existing housing stock to build high-rise towers, Myers and Diamond designed 5- to 7-story medium-rise infill housing, sited on the back half of the existing housing units. This allowed the neighborhood to retain old housing stock, while adding new units.
