Hunt & Chambers: First Congregational Church (Riverside, Calif.)

This church is in the Spanish Colonial style, with a Churrigueresque style steeple. The building is in the shape of a Latin cross, with two-foot-thick walls which are made of reinforced concrete, and a red tile roof that highlights the Spanish Colonial style.
Hunt & Grey were chosen as architects for the church after a competition for the design, which included architects Arthur Benton and Lester Moore.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
